Welcome to the new website home for the 20th Episcopal District, the newest established District within the African Methodist Episcopal Church!
The Bishop's theme: "Anointed to Serve.....That the Church May Be One" is a vision given to me by the Lord and I am delighted to share this with each of you. The vision is for us to become more spiritually connected as we learn and share our diverse cultural heritage and experiences with one another. We are all God's children fulfilling the Lord's great Commission which is to "Go ye into all the world baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit". As we reach out to each other in love and harmony we are showing the world that we are united by Christ.
Our website will keep everyone abreast of the current activities taking place within the Connectional Church and within our District. One of the most important events around the corner is the 51st Annual Meeting of the General Board and Bishops Council as well as the Investiture.
